SPECIAL NOTE:
Coyote lost his 12-string Alvarez guitar on December 3, 2009.
Here's a FREE SONG in memorium of my late Alvarez acoustic guitar:
"Just For You"
and
"5th South"
SPECIAL NOTE FROM COYOTE:
Thanks for your condolences, and thank you for your offers to replace or buy me a new guitar. I bought/rescued that guitar in 1972 from sliding around in the back of a truck. That damsel in distress became my best friend through thick and thin and...
After 36 years with my Alvarez, NO GUITAR could replace it. It was also the ONLY acoustic guitar I owned and recorded with from 1972 to 2009--so it has hundreds of songs to its credit, some movie soundtracks, and many television shows and concerts...
Here's a video of that LAST CONCERT OF THE ALVAREZ.
This was the opening song of the Mountair house concert:
"KILL THE SPIDER"

How to BE a Happy Hippie (Hippy)
Sid's Place is the novel that Coyote wrote in the mid seventies, finished in 1980, edited into a professional draft 1984, and published 2008.
Why so long?
Because it is full of drugs, and the hero is a drug dealer. No book publisher would risk the wrath of the Reagan Administration in the eighties. Woodstock was banned.
Now, armed with Quark, Photoshop, and a scanner, I've been able to publish this book. Shaolin Communications, my book publisher, was launched in 1984 with my record company, Shaolin Records, and my music publishing company, Shaolin Music.
I am proud to release this book and hope the Feds won't get pissed off...
See where The Coyote leads us as he bends reality into this wild adventurous novel that starts in 1969 during a drug deal that goes very wrong. Coyote claims that he made this up (I told him to say that) so he won't get into trouble for portraying what life was really like before the Hippies were herded by Governor Reagan into targets for the Viet Cong.
See what the flower power years were really like.
